Computer freezes everyday

Hi! My computer constantly freezes everyday. Mostly when i play video games, I can only be on the game for a few minutes before my mouse and keyboard completely shut off (the LED lights go off) and the computer freezes. By then I have to shut it off using the power button. This happens multiple times a day to the point I am unable to play games. Is there anyway to pinpoint the issue?

Have you tried different USB ports?

IF the LED lights go off it doesn't sound good

Well, the main issue is that the computer freezes

I'd be a little more concerned about your USB ports losing power

Have you checked mobo capacitors and psu?

Well im currently looking to switch my mobo and cpu up to ddr4 hoping that fixes the issue. So no i havent looked at the mobo, not sure how to tell

If it doesn't presist with a new board it's most likely a psu issue.
