If that's idle temps you have a serious problem you need to be looking for now, a normal FX 6300 idle temps with stock cooler is around 30~35 else that's really high temp.
That's a good power supply none the less, but i would say that your PC is hanging up because of overheating, do you have fans in your case and how is the airflow in your case?

I got 6 fans on the computer.i think you might of pointed me in the right direction. I bought the cpu about a month ago & it sounds stupid but I don't have any thermal paste applied.
could this be the issue

Well obviously it is the issue, there is a small gaps between the copper plate on the cooler and the CPU sink or whatever it is called, the thermal paste closes these gaps and makes good connection between the CPU and the cooler, buy a thermal paste ASAP.

Well its an old processor, plus it doesn't have any thermal paste either, so its one of both you wont really find out until you apply that thermal paste tomorrow, if it kept crashing then you got rid of a problem and start troubleshooting another.
But it can be because of opening more than 3 or 4 applications at once.
