Computer freezes, no buzz, and a little *tick* noise right before it happens

This has been happening for awhile... Any help would be nice.

Unfortunately the thread title and body information aren't enough to get by for making a successful troubleshoot. Please post your full system's specs inclusive of your OS and connected peripherals. It'd help us two fold if we knew when the freezes occur i.e, if the freeze happens under system load or a particular amount of time after system is powered up.
