Setup:
Mobo: Gigabyte B150M-D3H-CF (U3E1)
CPU: Intel Core i5-6500 CPU @ 3.20GHz
Ram: 2x Crucial 4GB DDR4 2133
Video: SAPPHIRE Dual-X R7 370 2GB
HD: 931GB SAMSUNG HD103SJ ATA Device (SATA) & 298GB Western Digital WDC WD3200AAKS (SATA)
PSU: Corsair HX520W
WLAN: Ralink RT61 Wireless LAN Card V2
OS: Windows 10
The computer will run adobe software like lightroom fine but when I open a game (Guild Wars 2) the it'll freeze within a couple minutes. Completely locks up and audio cuts. No bluescreens or reboots, just freezes.
The CPU, ram, mobo and video card are all brand new with the rest of the setup being over 5 years old. They replaced Intel E8400, 4GB ram, Gigabyte P35-DS3L, 512MB NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT.
I've tried:
Re-installing drivers
Clean install of windows
Un-overclocking the the video card
I thinking with the PSU beign so old and close to the line it is probably the issue. Is there anyway of testing it's my PSU before I buy a new one?
