Computer Freezes randomly

When I play games or even just sit on the computer for long or short periods of time my computer will just lock and and require a hard reboot, I've been looking into it for the past few months and can't find anything. I thought I narrowed it down to my ram but that didnt work cause I just froze again so before I buy anything els that wont change anything I want to ask you guys.

Computer specs:
Nvidia gtx 660 Super clocked
AMD cpu 8320 8 cores
Old ram Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory
New ram:Team Elite Plus 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Desktop Memory Model
Mother Board: Asrock 970 pro3
Psu: Antec EA-750 PLATINUM 750W 80 PLUS PLATINUM Certified Power Supply
HHD: Western Digital Blue WD10EZEX 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive
SSD: Crucial M500 CT240M500SSD1 2.5" 240GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)


I can't run a test on prime95 cause my computer will freeze
My new memory has no errors
My old memory did have errors
Can flash my motherboard or computer freezes

Please help

It's got to be an overclocking issue.

perhaps lower the clocks of the over clocked parts of your system, perhaps maybe try another gpu if you got one. if i had to make a guess on if it was a hardware computer, probs cpu or gpu.
