Computer freezes when booting, when it gets to the login screen, and when it gets to the desktop. When and where it freezes depends on how far the computer is able to make it.
I replaced the computer, but the problem still occurred. I've reseated everything. Can't run my recovery disk because it hangs on that loading screen as well. Sometimes when I changed the bios settings, it either accepts the changes and reboots (but can still freeze the same way as above) or it just decides it doesn't want to boot anymore (when this happens, my ASUS motherboard's CPU red LED light stays lit)
It can take anywhere from 30 minutes to several hours turning my computer off and on before it actually stays on. Any ideas?
