Recently, I took my video card out of my system(giving to friend as I'm buying a new one) and now when I try to play games, be it Diablo 3, League of Legends, Emulator games, or Rift, my computer freezes after about 5-10mins of gameplay. The system worked great before I took the card out, never having a single problem. I defragged, disc cleanup, ran malwarebytes, ran virus scans, and it was all clean. So I downloaded HWmonitor, and ran prime95 for an hour and my cpu temp never reached above 60degrees celcius and it didnt freeze. So I have no clue what the issue is. Computer specs listed below
Operating System
Windows 8.1 64-bit
CPU
Intel Core i5 3570K @ 3.40GHz 35 °C
Ivy Bridge 22nm Technology
RAM
8.00GB Single-Channel DDR3 @ 666MHz (9-9-9-24)
Motherboard
ASRock Z77 Pro3 (CPUSocket) 32 °C
Graphics
ASUS VS228 (1920x1080@60Hz)
Intel HD Graphics 4000 (ASRock)

931GB Seagate ST1000DM003-9YN162 (SATA) 28 °C
Optical Drives
hp DVD-RAM GH82N

High Definition Audio Device
My old video card was an AMD Radeon 6750 core edition. And I did uninstall the drivers. Also my two RAM sticks are both 4gb, but one is 1600mhz and the other 1333 or w/e the speed is for that range.
Basically I just need to know why it could be freezing. Because it should not be.
