When ever i am playing game my computer freezes randomly. It is usually when playing demanding games such as for honor beta. I have my gpu fan speed at 75 always and is at a low temp. my cpu temp is fine also. i havent done a memtest but i don't how to put it on a bootable drive. I dont think it is my memory but it could be.

CPU: intel i7-6700k
GPU: GTX 970 MSI 4G
PSU: Corsair CX600
Motherboard: ASUS z170

Solution
Check to see if you have the latest GPU drivers. If you still get crashes try underclocking your GPU a bit. If that fails too take a look at your CPU, check the voltages and make sure it's running properly and try underclocking that a bit as well.

I have an i7 6700k, when I tried to overclock it to 4.3 and 4.4ghz with a slight voltage increase I was able to run stress tests with temps in normal ranges and no crashes or errors. However when I got into games I noticed they behaved strangely. Like lower than normal FPS or the game hanging while the mouse is moved.

As for memtest. I think windows has one built in but it can only be accessed while the PC is being turned on.
