Hello First time poster and not a big Forum user here,

I was wondering if you guys can help me with a little issue I'm having I have tired another forum and didn't really get a response.

So my problem is as follows my Pc seems to keep freezing ever time there is a big bang Eg: Kids jumping on the floor in the same room as the pc or the hallway next to the room with the pc.

I have limited experience when it comes to working out why things happen to the pc and how to fix them this is the first pc I have built and i'm trying to fix things without taking it to a shop so if anyone has any info on how I can go about doing this that would be fantastic.

my pc Specs are as follows

Intel Core i5 2500K unlocked
Asus P8H67 R3 H67 MoBo
1TB Seagate x2
850W CIT BLACK PSU
COOL MASTER HYPER TX3 EVO CPU FAN
COOL MASTER ELITE 334U CASE
4G EVGA GTX770
16Gbs RAM

Windows 10
Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place

Thanks in advance willing to give any other info if needed
also I clean it on a regular basis

Any consistency to when these freezes occur? Low load, high load? Any time?

Seeing as the hard drive is the component most prone to damage from vibrations and such, do a little test. Go into the BIOS, and jump around in the room or have the kids do it. See if the computer freezes in the BIOS where the hard drive and OS have no ability to cause a freeze.

Okay it seems like its not a Harddrive Fault as it still freezes

Well, CIT is a no-name power supply brand that likely produces only overrated junk. Not trying to be harsh or anything, but just honest with you. A power supply can cause all sorts of instabilities and freezes, and it may be possible that, being the no-name brand it is, something may be very loose inside it, or it has really bad soldering that is causing components inside to shift when people jump. To be honest, I wouldn't even run that thing with a GTX 770 even if it did worked. A lot of PSUs out there will catch fire when drawing just over half their labelled wattage.

Okay I think your on to something, I have taken all but 1 stick of Ram out and jump a few times in the room and its not froze. I guess I just put one back in each time to see what the faulty one is ?

Though I'm now a little confused, I have tired each stick of ram in and it worked fine, Now all four Sticks are in and its working can't seem to get it to freeze
