Computer freezing during gaming

Hello, All. This is my first time posting and I'm VERYcomputer illiterate which is why I'm reaching out here. Please excuse my ignorance. My son's computer keeps freezing at random times when he's gaming. It just stays frozen where he was and it doesn't respond to anything. It freezes if he's playing online or offline, even just surfing the web. Sometimes it will even just power down on it's own out of nowhere. He has to reboot by the power button. Brought it to a shop and the guy reinstalled windows, said the fans and graphics card were fine, he said drivers are up to date.. He said he tested it in Steam all day and it never froze. Of course, we get home and it's freezing just like before. I read online to uninstall Asus suite, but I can't find that on his computer. I don't even know if it's on there. I'm lost and about to lose my mind! I know folks post their specs here but all I can tell you is his computer is a cyberpower, it's about 3 years old, and it has windows 10. I would appreciate any help anyone would be kind enough to offer. Thanks

With Cyberpower it has a good chance of being a bad power supply, that is a very weak area for that brand. Could be the video card also. No way to know for sure without testing the parts by swapping things out with known good parts and/or testing the parts in another system.

So, hopefully someone sees this and can help! We hooked up the PSU tester and the number where it says PG is reading all different. Sometimes it says 300, we unplugged it and plugged it back in and it read 190. Unplugged it and plugged it back in and it would read 0. On and on... Does any of that mean the PSU is bad? Thanks
