Question Computer freezing on me, what's the issue sound like?

Hi guys, my PC is having an issue freezing and not doing anything. The first time, I completely lost signal to my monitor and went flat with no sound. Now it just freezes the screen wherever it does and has a still-picture where I can't move my mouse and the sound stops completely. Then I have to force shut down and turn it back on again. I've done everything from a system restore to scanning for viruses - so it leads me to believe it's a problem with my hardware. Do you guys think it's my CPU, motherboard, or just my GPU dying in general? I keep trying to search for Windows Error reports and don't find any of them either whenever I turn my pc back on. So I'm not sure what to make of that / what that eliminates as my culprits...help is appreciated plz

Update : it just blacked out and kept playing a YouTube video/sound with no picture to the hdmi

Update update : Now it won't start up with any hdmi input at all. Complete no signal input

Gonna start by trying out a new GPU today

Tried it with another card, still no dice. Leads me to believe it's the motherboard again...
