My computer keeps freezing on one game only and seemingly at random with no warning. All my drivers are up to date. When it freezes it keeps the last thing I saw and has a buzzing noise. My computer is well above the requirements of the game. Could it be discord crashing my computer? It only seems to happen with Discord open, Doesnt seem to happen when im not using discord. Could it be a conflict between PUBG and Discord?

I used to have that problem as well with PUBG freezing, but it's nothing regarding discord and pubg conflict i'm sure about it... in my case it was my monitoring software that was causing that such as MSI Afterburner and RealTemp which monitors GPU and CPU
Respectively, if you are using one of those try to keep them closed and see if it works.. also PUBG crashes randonly sometimes, but there's nothing you can do about that since game is pretty bad optimized

1. as FabioXN7 stated and ten of thousand of players will repeat , PUBG is early access, badly optimized, and freezes, crashes, closes etc. without warning.
2. if your games systematically crashes, and if you think discord is causing the issue, then leave it off while you play and see. I know I used to have a hard times with TeamSpeak and black ops, but the game only crashed if I started TS after the game, something to think about. so try to start it before or after you launch PUBG to see if there is a "reasoning." but I found discord to crash all by itself myself. and rarely use it

Yeah, I've found out that it wasn't discord pubg conflict as well. I use precision xoc and cpuid. But i usually 9nly have precision xoc open to keep my GPU nice and cool. I'm pretty sure that I've had it freeze even without those programs open because after it would freeze I would restart my computer and start the game right back up and join my friends on discord and forget to open it until it freezes again. I think it might start on start up in the background and just not take effect. When xoc starts up, the fans kick on at full blast and go right back to normal within a few seconds. Nothing abnormal. But I'll try and keep that program closed and test that out tonight. Thanks!

Monitoring software doesn't seem to be the issue because it froze without any of that open.... Remember... It's only this game.... Never any time else...
