Computer Freezing on Start Up

Hello,
I have a 5-7 year old Windows Vista computer, recently it has been freezing up on the welcome screen. I have tried to start it up in "Safe Mode" with no luck. It always freezes up on "Loaded: \Windows\system32\drivers\crcdisk.sys". I have tried to start it up on "Repair Your Computer" and on "Last Known Good Configuration" it the tries to repair a disk and it freezes. Every time it freezes I hear a continuous beep from inside the computer ( not the speakers). Any known solutions to this problem?

You could try a windows repair disc? Try making a disc using this software. I'm sure you can find tutorials on how to burn it to a disc.

Then just boot from the CD and it should fix your problem.
