I bought a new computer about a month ago and had zero problems but yesterday while playing dota my whole computer started freezing and this doesn't happen when I play Fortnite.
The screen freezes and I hear a buzzing sound and I have to restart my whole computer.

I have done memtest reinstalled Dota and Windows and it is still freezing.

E: Seems like CS:GO also crashes so steam games

My specs are:
Intel - Core i7-8700K 3.7GHz 6-Core Processor
Asus - Prime Z370-A ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
G.Skill - Sniper X 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3600 Memory
SanDisk - SSD PLUS 240GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Palit - GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB Super Jetstream Video Card
be quiet! - STRAIGHT POWER 10 CM 800W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply

check the SSD with sandisk´s tool, eventually update its firmware with it too.

How hot is the CPU and GPU getting while freezing?
stresstest with prime95 version 26.6 (option smallFFT) and check with coretemp
run furmark stresstest at the same time for about 10minutes

Did you overclock the system?

run 3dmark basic edition , click on compare result online after that and post the address from your upcoming browser

Seemed like changing the RAM to use XMP profile solved my problem! It's weird though since I have not changed any BIOS settings after Windows installation and the problem started after about a month but nevertheless seems it's solved now, thank you so much.

Check the socket pins of the motherboard if one or more are bent or discolored.

Reset the bios/cmos by jumper

Run Memtest.org tool, use the USB autoinstaller with an USB flash drive and boot from it. At least 2 complete cycles.

In which DIMM slots did you install the ram of the motherboard?

Are the case spacers correctly installed to not shorten the motherboard at the back?

Reconnect everything, sometimes connections can be better if unplugged and plugged in again.

Eventually check with another power supply

The cables of the psu are the originally delivered ones for this specific power supply?

Anything else connected to it? USB, pcie, ... devices

Check if the cooler of the CPU is correctly installed. Which one is it? Not too tightly screwed in?

Reseted bios, ram is installed in the recommended slots (B2 and A2), case spacers are installed according to manual, cables of psu are the ones that came with the psu, nothing extra connected to it, cooler is also installed according to manual (Noctua - NH-D15 82.5 CFM CPU Cooler), cooler had screws that stopped when they were deep enough and didn't use crazy amounts of force so should not be too tight.

Sigh kinda losing hope here. I will reconnect everything, check the pins and run memtest with 2 cycles and report back.

E: just crashed watching youtube and vlc maybe that gives a hint

Checked pins on mobo didn't see any bent or discolored, ran memtest 3 times 0 errors, took computer apart and reconnected everything.

Set fans on turbo mode in bios and when the computer froze they started spinning at max speed, dno if it's relevant.

Tried my psu on old computer and it didn't crash but my old computer is not nearly as powerful as my new, so don't know if it's good enough stress test.

I checked my video card in my old computer and managed to crash it! I had to use my new psu for this test but I wasn't able to crash my old computer with just the psu.
So this means I have faulty video card and I just need return it?
