Question Computer freezing

I'm not sure exactly which category to post this issue. I am having a problem where my laptop will freeze and the only way to get it to unfreeze is to disconnect from the wifi. I can then reconnect and continue browsing the internet. It also only happens when I'm browsing the internet using Chrome. When it does freeze it freezes the entire system, not just Chrome. The mouse pointer will still work but the only things I can click are on the taskbar. Once it starts this cycle it will sometimes but rarely fix itself. Most of the time I have to reboot the computer. Otherwise it will refreeze every few minutes.

Update your post to include hardware specs and OS.

Try reinstalling Chrome.

If reinstalling Chrome does not work then use Reliability History/Manager and Event Viewer to look for error codes or warnings that occur just before or at the time of the freezes.

This is my secondary computer but it's still annoying. I'll try reinstalling Chrome and see if that helps.
