Question Computer Freezing

I just upgraded from an i5-8600k to a Ryzen 2700X. Using the stock cooler the CPU came with. Sometimes I'll be on Chrome or in my files and my computer freezes for a couple seconds. Happens more than I would like it to. I'll have nothing else open in the background. Any help or tips?

When the computer freezes, are the fans running loudly?

Well my rear exhaust fan is at 1700 RPM’s. It’s connected to the AIO Pump connector on the motherboard. Haven’t switched it yet. But other than that no they don’t start running louder
