Computer gets stuck at Asus Motherboard logo.

Hello everyone,

One day my computer randomly started having this issue where when I boot it up there is nothing displayed on my main screen. However if I turn on my second monitor I can see that it is stuck at the motherboard logo, although pressing F12 or DEL does not do anything. The only solution I've found is that if I restart the computer after this it will boot past the logo screen (although it takes longer than it normally does). Everything in the computer sounds perfectly normal on boot up as well.

On another note I'm not sure if this has anything to do with this issue but for the past few weeks every time my computer starts up I get a "Can't open AsIO.sys !! (2)" window that pops up followed another error saying "PEUpdater application has stopped working." Was never sure what these errors meant and googling them wasn't very clear for me either.

Thanks for the suggestion, before I got the chance to try your solution I had a power surge while I was using the computer and this somehow fixed my issue!
