Hi,
I have an Gigabyte X99 with 5820K chip.

I had it running at 4300 ok, I wanted to try 4400 and set to 100hz and 44 multiplier. It wouldnt boot and and hung trying to get to BIOS to change it back.

I reset CMOS and restarted computer. Now it just keeps freezing or rebooting shortly after starting. It will sometimes go into BIOS if I press F2 and then just freeze after a few seconds.

If I try to boot into windows or hackintosh, it just freezes or reboots.

I've tried removing my pci soundcard and all usb devices.

Could I have fried something?

Thanks, Tom

Ok after removing 2 of the 4 sticks of ram, osx now boots so that's something.

Windows is also booting but just arrives at a black screen with no cursor. I haven't changed windows for a while except that I did allow it install some updates the other day.

Booting in safe mode causes BSOD and then reboots.
