My pc is nearly 7 years old and from past half year it's freezing at the motherboard splash screen. It's only happens when i turn it on after 2-3 hours, sometimes only fans work, sometimes it stuck at motherboard splash screen. but the system is running fine after it boot up windows. I'm thinking of replacing motherboard i want to know if the processor is ok or faulty.I've tried a couple of different solutions for this problem and none have worked. I've already tried the following:
1.Reinstalled windows.
2.Cleaned motherboard.
3.Changed wires.
4.Tested RAM and HDD.
5.Checked PSU.
6.Changed CMOS battery.
Specs:
ECS G41T-R3 Motherboard
Intel Pentium 3.2Ghz Dual Core Processor
1x2 TB Hard Disk (4 months old)
4x2 GB DDR3 1650Mhz Ram (only 2 months old)
Zotac GT610 GPU
Stock PSU 200-300? maybe.
