Hello, I recently posted a thread here regarding some issues with my desktop here:
http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2826541/computer-hangs-freezes-emits-loud-freaky-sound-speakers.html
My PC specs have not changed at all.
So naturally I have done all of the suggested things to do. Now when my PC freezes there is nothing in the event viewer directly before or after the "system was shut down without cleanly restarting" event.
I have ran the /sfc scannow and etc. all of these tests show no errors. I have even ran stress tests on both the GPU and CPU. The crash never occurred during these activities. It is always completely random... but now that It think about it... I think I am always surfing the web when it happens. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers as the previous user mentioned in the last post.
I'm really just not sure what to do, other then at one point I will buy a bunch of compressed air and go through my PC and clean it. Unplug everything and reconnect it all.
Until then I was wondering if there was anything anyone could think of, that I could try to stop this from happening. It's unfortunate that it only happens every 4 days or so. So troubleshooting it is taking longer, I'll make a bunch of changes and it will be fine for days. And then bam it just freezes. I know that not cleanly shutting down my PC could potentially cause harm, and I would love to stop doing it as soon as possible.
this issue is driving me insane.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
