As of this recent week, my PC has been randomly cutting out to a black screen and immediately rebooting about every hour or 2 of use. Looking at the computer, the lights stay on and the fans stay spinning. The keyboard and mouse lights stay on as well.

The problem doesn't seem to be related to GPU/CPU/RAM load as far as I can tell. Tried multiple stress tests and nothing specifically caused a reset. Can happen during youtube/general internet browsing. No unit is overheating either.

The windows event viewer isn't very helpful, the only thing I could find is the error message saying a shutdown was unexpected. The most likely cause I could think of, is a faulty PSU, as it was purchased back in 2019. But does anyone have any ideas before I go through with this new purchase?

Things I have attempted so far:
  • Updated bios to newest version
  • Updated windows
  • Updated GPU drivers
  • Updated chipset
  • Malware scan
  • Unplugging and replugged all power cables on motherboard
  • Reseated GPU
  • Reseated Ram (they are in the correct slots)
  • Tried using 1 ram stick at a time

Specs:
  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
  • GPU: Nvidia RTX 4070S (Super)
  • SSD: Samsung 850 Evo 500GB
  • SSD: Samsung 870 EVO 4TB
  • HDD: WD Blue 1TB (2012)
  • RAM: Unknown F5-6000J3636F16G 2x16GB
  • MBD: Gigabyte GA-B650 GAMING X AX
  • PSU: RM650, 650 Watt

I have been trying to troubleshoot my pc for its random reboots. I'm trying to single out my GPU and use my CPU's integrated graphics as a replacement to see if my pc still crashes. However my integrated graphic capable CPU isnt producing any output from my motherboard's HDMI or Displayport.

The cables and monitor works fine with my graphics card. I have enabled integrated graphics from the bios and forced it to use them. I have tried with and without the GPU connected.

Anyone have any suggestions? Everything in my build is brand new except for the storage. Thanks

One month later I am still having this issue. Since then I have bought a new 850W power supply, and a new M.2 SSD and have tried using exclusively that with a fresh install of windows. I have checked all front panel connections and removed all except power connections. I have also tried changing PC settings to disallow auto reboots. Still nothing. If anyone has any further suggestions please let me know.
