Hello, my computer of about 3 years old has been having touble starting recently and i haven't been able to find the why/how of it.
Every morning when i first press the power button the pc seems to start but ends up at a black screen, after about half an hour it proceeds to the login screen of windows 10 but without the possibility to actually log in. The computer does not respond to the power button in this situation, if i pull and reinsert the plug the computer loads up until a black screen with turning dots, like the windows 10 loading animation, this also proceeds to a unusable login screen. Then when i repeat the process of pulling and reinserting the plug it loads to a fully functional login screen within seconds. It has been like this for about a week now.

The specifications are:
Alienware aurora r4 [strike]motherboard[/strike] desktop PC

XFX radeon r9 290 (i replaced the old gpu myself about a year ago, never caused any trouble)
i7 4820k
1 tb original dell HDD
256gb SSD
32gb of ram.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me with this.

Solution
starrt with hdtune check your ssd and hard drive for any errors. use hard drive vendor test tools. (from we or seagate depending of the drive in your pc(hdtune tell you the brand). if the hard drive controller going south on the one tb it may be hanging the pc. also check the data and time see if it holding. if not the cmos may not be holding. look at system logs see if there any error 41 power issue. also use hardware info set it to sensor and logging. make sure the power supply is holding. another test is pull the gpu see if it boots better from the onboard video.
