Computer incredibly slow after Putting it into a new case

My pc Specs are
i5 4690k
16gb ram
gtx 970
128gb Kingston SSD (with windows on it)
1 tb HDD
300GB HDD


I recently put my pc into a new case and now its running slow as hell. I tested it out in the least graphically intense game i have installed, minecraft, and i get 15fps. I can barely use google without it being laggy as hell.
My pc also wont boot up (turns off after bios) if certain SATA ports have anything in them and it wont boot at all if the 1TB hard drive is plugged in.
Any idea what might cause this?

buy a better case. you probably bought an old one that can't handle newer games.

Something did not get put back together correctly.

How the temps? Did you have to take off the CPU cooler? If so, did you redo the thermal paste?

Something did not get put back together correctly.

I left the ram and cpu and heatsink in place, haven't checked temps yet ill do that now.

I've been using it for almost a year with no issues

I use CPUID as a tool to monitor my system. It will check your PSU voltages as well as your component temps. There are other monitors out there, but try this one out and see if your system is running right.
