Question Computer intermittently goes back to pre-boot state and freezes ?

Hi Guys

My computer intermittently will instantly go back to a pre-boot state and be locked, so to restart I have to unplug/replug. The power button does nothing until the computer is restarted.

Not sure if it is related but when starting the computer the graphics will flicker and not allow me to continue until I do a restart without turning off the power. A bit tricky to get the power button to show to allow this.
