Computer is acting strangely, I can't put my finger on it

Starting today my computer has been acting really strangely . It's almost like it's being slow but at the same time it's fast. For example, I will play Arma 3 and run it absolutely fine, but every 5 minutes it will just freeze, it won't let me alt tab or ctrl alt delete but then it just goes back to normal, this is the same with other programs, ill be using Google Chrome and it will stop loading pages, show that it is not responding, and come back. I would be fine if it did it occasionally but it does it all the time.


Things I have tried

-Cleaning the registry and everything else with CCleaner.

- Deleting the temp folder in appdata/local

- Doing the startup repair thing, and then the disk check

- Running a scan for viruses (found none)

- Opening the computer and cleaning it for dust.


My computer consists of:

Intel Core i5-3570k

8GB RAM

AMD Radeon 7850

ASRock z77m

1TB Seagate HDD

Windows 7 Ultimate

Need help! It's unbearable!

Updating my gpu driver and doing a malware scan seemed to help me when I had this issue, but it may be different on an AMD card.

Thank you so much, a malware scan found 4 objects and then killed them, problem solved, I love you!

Mine was a dodgy gpu driver install, but malware could do it also.
