Hi there. Gonna make this as simple as possible here. Last night I was using my computer like I usually do, shut it off and went to bed. I wake up this morning, turn it on, but it's beeping with 1 set of 5 beeps. So far I tried reseating the RAM and it didn't resolve the issue. I am confused as to why it'd be working one night and not work the next morning. Can someone help me, please? Thank you.

Mobo: ASRock Z75 Pro3
CPU: i5 2500k
GPU: MSI 560Ti Twin Frozr II
RAM: G. Skill 8GB
PSU: Antec 650W
Cooler: Noctua NH-D14
HDD: Hitachi 320GB
Case: Enermax Ostrog GT

EDIT: Tried reseating the CPU and it still didn't help.

Well, I assume you didn't add any new components in your sleep 😉

Work through this checklist to make sure there's nothing obvious like a loose connection.

Try removing and reseating your GPU just in case it's worked itself out of the slot

5 beeps means "process error" (NOT NECESSARILY AN ERROR WITH THE PROCESSOR!) according to Asrock so that could mean anything unfortunately and you're going to have to work through this step-by step

Thanks for the reply. I'll try those steps in a bit, but I just wanted to let you know that I reseated the GPU and now I get 3 short beeps at a time.

It seemed to fix my issue, thanks! However, and I'm not really complain or anything, but when that the first time it wouldn't work. Tried each stick and wouldn't work. NOW it worked! Lmao! Computers are so strange. 😛

Lol! Well, I did place them in their slots correctly, but for some reason it was being stubborn on my first two tries. XD 3rd time is the charm, right? Haha! But thanks for your help, anyway. :)
