Question Computer is crashing only when I play a game.

I am not getting a bsod, when my pc freezes it'll studder the last sound that was on and the restart its self.

To me it sounds like a power supply issue. This same thing was happening to me about a year ago.

Sounds like a PSU problem. Replug all cables, try with other PSU if possible.

If you're looking for something on the cheap, the Corsair CX-M series isn't a bad choice, just make sure the model you get has the cabling and wattage you need.

Honestly, when this kind of stuff starts happening to a PSU it means it is going bad. You could try going into BIOS and setting things to energy saving modes, but ultimately I believe you will need a new PSU.

According to the PSU calculator I did for your current specs, you need somewhere around 500 watts. I would recommend this 550 watt PSU from Amazon, or if you think you plan to upgrade any system specs someday I would pay $10 more for the 650 watt version.

I run a CX650M, had this exact same issue with my 1060/8320 setup when I played Subnautica.

Edit: Issue was with the stock PSU, not the Corsair.
