Computer is only using half my ram (4 instead of 8)

Hello my computer is only using half my gigs of RAM. I have 8 gb and its only using 4gb ive noticed it in the performance and what it says in task manager. Ive run memtest and no errors and i have 64 bit windows 10.

BTW my computer does recognise the RAM sticks.

Test them individually by pulling the other out and see what you find.

Yup one of them did not work at all...

Most all major brands have either a Limited Lifetime or Lifetime warranty so I don't see a issue there.
