I've used this computer for a few years now and I wanted to start fresh of all the clutter so last night i unplugged the sata cables from my HDD and 2 SSDs (but left them plugged into the motherboard which shouldnt be relevant right). I then put in a new 2 TB m.2 SSD that i got from bestbuy, this 1 sits in the motherboard so i was told it'd be faster than the ones plugged into the SATA cables. Then i booted windows fresh from a USB and set it up and everything, checked for windows updates, installed my nvidia driver and my chipset/lan/audio drivers. But for some reason before/while i was doing this and ever since, my computer is very slow to laod new pages or downloads, like during me trying to get these drivers on my computer the download would go super fast then completely halt @ like 80%, i would have to retry it a few times to get it to go through, i have no clue what it could be... is there a chance the SSD is messed up or something when i bought it? I was thinking maybe it was because i didn't reboot after each driver update i did? but that wouldnt make sense why it was happening even before i installed the drivers? I'm open to any suggestions, I'm at the point where i might just go back and take out this new SSD and return it then replug in all my old HDDs/SSDs and hope that it still works the same as b4 i even tried this, but i'd rather just find a solution tbh

i forgot to mention: i ran multiple speedtests and it came back 800 download 600 upload
once it came back 800 download/0 upload tho

Is it slow when the new SSD drive is the ONLY drive connected?

Despite what you were told, the new SSD isn't likely to be noticeably faster than any other SSD.
yes the other HDDs/SSDs are not plugged in
