Computer is working fine, but the monitor remains BLACK!

Hey! Okay, my computer is working fine, fans are spinning and everything. but my Monitor is not working. when i turn it on everything works except for my Monitor. It just remains black, the issue started today when i accidentaly hit the power button while my computer was on blue screen after a crash, it said it would just update some things and then it would restart automatically, but then of course i accidentaly hit the power button and now it wont work. would love to get help with it!

Need full details about the computer, brand/model, power supply brand and model, video card brand and model, etc...

Did you check to make sure cables are all OK and the monitor is turned on? Try unplugging the computer from wall power, hold in the power button for about 15 seconds, and try again.
