So just finished building a new computer and I tested it out by powering it up to see if it would at least turn on (no monitor yet) and nothing’s happening. The motherboard’s on however so I don’t know what is happening. There are some pins under the power button that are really short and I don’t know if they’re related to what’s happening. Also. I would like to point out that I have a NZXT H500 case and my front panel cable takes up half of a 20-5 pin front panel connector(the cable connected is 9 pinned labeled Front panel) and I have the HD Audio cable in its respective spot (not in front panel connector). I have no idea what’s happening! Please help I don’t wanna have wasted so much time to nothing!

Solution
"the cable connected is 9 pinned labeled Front panel"
Remove that cable (don't use it) and connect the PWR labeled wires on case to the PWR BTN pins on motherboard. Press the power button and see if fans spinning.
