So my desktop was turned on for three days straight. So when i woke up and wanted to turn on my computer, nothing happened. Like literally nothing is happening, and i'm really clueless. I have tried connecting the wire from the PSU directly to the electric socket, but still no reaction.

I know that having your computer turned for long periods is bad for it, but it shouldn't be destroying the computer. I think that it is the PSU who is dead, but i don't know of what reason.

I really have no clue, please if anyone can help me, i would be really grateful.:??:

Solution
A surge protector would be a good thing to have. It will keep electrical surges from damaging your machine. If you had it directly plugged into the wall that could be what got you. If there are no indications of power at all on your machine it is likely that it is your power supply.

First, you have to verify ALL cables, plugs, etc are actually still connected.
Start from either end...either the wall or the power switch.
