Computer just dies!

Ive got a r9 280x gpu, sabretooth 990fx r2.0 mb, amd 8350 cpu and 8 gig of corsair vengeance pro. 750w psu.. and it dies as soon as i put the graphics on anything other then LOW when playing games... im so pissed that ive spent nearly £1000 on a pc that doesnt even work! and the temperatures seem to be fine like, like i checked regularly while the game is running and they are around 45 -50 max! The only thing that is old now is the psu, and thats only a year n half
