Hey, so about 3 months ago, it was the first time it happened. while playing a game(dota) the computer suddenly froze, as if its a picture, i couldnt move my mouse, hear anything from teamspeak, or talk to people in teamspeak, and i left it there for a few minutes, untill i had no choice but to manually force restart the pc. It happened about twice since then. Anyone have any idea what it is?

Pre-builts are just overpriced crap (sorry, but it is true). They build it, not you, that's not worth the extra $400+. But that's not what we're discussing, talk about that on another thread if you like.

Anyways, like someone else in this thread has said, dust all of your fans and everything off, monitor temperatures, re-install drivers, and maybe try another GPU (spare if you have one)

Here is the thing, the pc is good, its new, it runs dota at 60fps constantly without going down(its capped at 60)

the thing about pre builts is that they will always work and be stable reliable machines

Disagree strongly. Pre built PC's especially from places like Alienware are built to maximise profits, they will use the lowest quality components they can get away with. For less money you can build something with superior parts and far grater upgrade potential.

Sorry to the OP
