My PC system just have booting problem recently when I upgrade new parts.
My system:

- Intel Core i7-2600 3.4GHz
- Asus P8H67-M PRO Micro ATX LGA1155 Motherboard
- Kingston 16GB (2 x 8GB)
- Crucial M500 240GB 2.5" SSD
- Corsair H100i GTX 70.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
- EVGA GeForce GTX 960 2GB SuperSC ACX 2.0+ Video Card
- Asus VX279Q 60Hz 27.0" Monitor
- EVGA SuperNOVA 1300 G2 1300W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

So it's working fine if I use HDMI port, but when I try to plug Displayport in from monitor to graphic card, the system keep restarting over and over(running for 5 seconds then off, then running again)
What I tried but still not working:

- changed new graphic card, still same problem with display port
- change power supply

Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Solution
I had never heard of this issue before, so I google'd it:

google query: displayport reboot loop

Recommendation: Clearly it's a known issue in some circles, but I found no consistent solutions. However, I would recommend trying a different brand/model of DisplayPort cable, based purely on the one message thread I found below:

I don't know if that's the case but have you checked if your DP cable has 19 or 20 pins? There have been similar problems using the 20 pins ones cause they send a sort of "voltage feedback" back to the gpu or anyway create a loop between the monitor and the gpu that may cause freezes and even damages. Again, I'm not sure this can be your case but.... my 2 cents

If the changing of DisplayPort cable doesn't change anything, I would try a different monitor. Obviously don't buy a monitor for troubleshooting this issue, but try to borrow one from someone for a hour, to see if the issue still persists.

Brand of cable that I use in my computer rig:

Cable Matters Gold Plated DisplayPort to DisplayPort Cable 10 Feet

Addendum:

In the above post, I recommended obtaining a new cable, which I still think is worth trying. But in addition, I came across the forum post below that is worth you trying immediately to see if it has an effect on your problem. Please read it.

After several days of troubleshooting I have resolved the problem on my end.

There is a feature on newer motherboards in which they have sleep state settings outside the control of the operating system. Go into your bios and go to APM configuration. Look for ErP setting (default is usually disabled) and enable it to S4+S5 sleep state. This solved my problem, now my monitor will show a display after computer wakes up from sleep or when powered off.

Hope this helps.

*Note* I have Asus Maximus VII Formula MOBO

Thanks for all the replies, I'm really appreciate it.
- I just bought your cable and wait for the shipping. I still wonder how can you tell the Display port cable is 19 or 20 pin. most of them are 20 pin, don't they? This is my current cable

- I check my bios on motherboard, but it didn't have that ErP setting
- I will try to find any monitor to keep trouble shooting then.
