My computer keeps crashing and I can't figure out why. I just had my motherboard fixed. The technician said there was some problem with the BGA. Now my computer won't boot at all when I have my graphics card plugged in. It did work for the very first time when I reassembled the system once my motherboard came back but the system crashed in some time when I was playing a game. Without the card, it does work but only for sometime after which it crashes and I am unable to reboot for a long time.
What could be the problem?

Specs:
Intel Core-i5 3450 3.1GHz
MSI-B75 MA E33
Corsair Vengence 4GB 1600MHz
AMD Radeon HD 7850 1GB OC
CoolerMaster GX550 (550W)
Seagate 1TB HDD 7200RPM

Thanks for any help.

I read on some other threads that overheating could be a problem. But all the fans work correctly and my CPU temp when I was playing the game was about 47-50 C.

Solution
Try booting up to BIOS. When you get your splash screen hit like F1,F12, Delete and or Enter. All MOBs are different. Let the system run in BIOS for a long time. If the system crashes when in BIOS, then your MOB is bad. Of course make sure the PSU is good. If the PSU is bad it will crash even in BIOS.
The BGA is known as a Ball Grid Array.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ball_grid_array

If that got damaged there is a high chance that your MOB is ruined.
The BGA can be used on RAM or the CPU.
If the actual BGA has damage you will need to get a new MOB.
Try putting new RAM in the system. Make sure you get RAM that is compatible with your system.
Also get a good brand. Cheap RAM can cause tons of problems.
Make sure your CPU is compatible. For fun I have booted computers with CPUs that are not compatible.
It will cause problems though. If your overclocking turn it all off.
Return all settings to default. On the MOB too. You may have to reset up your boot order.
Try installing another GPU and see if the problem goes away. If not try to reinstall your GPU's drivers.
If all fells try booting in Safe Mode. If you are in Safe Mode and the problem is gone then your problems is software.
If the problem is still there you have a hardware problem. Make sure your PSU can handle your computer.
If the system can not get enough power it will crash. Also, make sure your system is running cool.
If it is too hot the system will start crashing. Try opening the case and get a fan to blow into your case to cool it.
Because the teck said your BGA had problems the MOB is most likely ruined.
Check all of the connection in the computer. Are you getting any BSODS?
If so, they can help us a lot.

How did the BGA get messed up?

I have no idea how the BGA got messed up. The system was working fine one night and conked off the next morning. I took the MOB to the official MSI service center and the guys there said that it had been repaired. Maybe I need a replacement? Also, I have been using this system without a single problem for nearly a year and a half now. This is the first time it's got messed up. The system is running cool. I have left the case open and I have got 2 case fans which both work well. The CPU heatsink is also functioning properly, as is the fan on my PSU and the fans on my graphic card.

The problem could be a dying PSU. Make sure your PSU is fine.
Install another one and see if the problem goes away. Try Safe Mode and see if there are any problems.
When booting just keep hitting the F8 key. It should ask you how you want to boot.
Pick Safe Mode. It really sound like a bad MOB.
Did it get any bad power surges?
A power flicker might have killed it.
The repair people may have not fixed it.
It would be cheaper (Depends on the MOB) to just get a new MOB.
Getting thing like MOBs fixed is a loosing battle is a lot of cases.
Really try the PSU idea. It could be failing.
It sounds like the MOB has an intermittent problem and needs to be replaced.
Are you getting any BSODS at all?

No BSODs whatsoever. Will try with a different PSU and post further.

Nope. Completely air cooled.

Good! Air is the best way to go. It sounds like your MOB is dead or dying. 🙁

Try booting off of a Linux boot disk. If all of your problems are gone it may be software.
Try a fresh install of Windows. When they fixed your MOB they may have changed all of the MOB's setting.
Updated the CMOS ETC. You OS may not be configured right with the changes on the MOB.
A clean install of Windows will fix that. Good luck! :)
