Hi,

I recently built my PC in January. It was running fine until the end of April to now, it keeps crashing when I am on it for longer than an hour. I keep getting BSODs that say IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL or WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR. I have tried resetting the BIOS and tried to update drivers while I could get onto the desktop. Any help is appreciated!

My Specs:

WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR
is a error called by the CPU generally because of a power condition. The power condition can be caused by overheating, or the motherboard resetting the CPU because of a power condition.

The only device driver that can cause this would be a overclocking driver for the CPU or GPU.

RAM can not cause this error (unless you have a very old machine with external memory controller) (over 7 years old cpu)

corruption of the registry would never cause this bugcheck 0x124.
you can check the first parameter of the bugcheck to see what device called it.
generally 0 = cpu 4= pci/e bus

damaged disk would not cause this bugcheck

- blow the dust out of your CPU, gpu, and PSU fans
- stop any overclocking, reset the...
Following reasons can cause a WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR

  • Incorrectly configured, old, or corrupted device drivers. (very common)

  • Corruption in Windows registry from a recent software change (install or uninstall).

  • Virus or malware infection that has corrupted Windows system files or Windows Operating System-related program files.

  • Driver conflict after installing new hardware.

  • Damaged or removed system files after you’ve installed software or drivers related to Windows Operating System.

  • Error 0x124 blue screen caused by a damaged hard disk.

  • WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR STOP error due to memory (RAM) corruption.

- blow the dust out of your CPU, gpu, and PSU fans
- stop any overclocking, reset the bios or update it to remove any bios overclock and to get bios cpu microcode updates

-confirm your power supply is correctly rated for your gpu and you have the gpu to PSU power connections connected and fully seated

put the memory dump from c:\windows\minidump directory
on to a server like Microsoft onedrive, share the file for public access and post a link here
