My computer keeps crashing after my hard drive revs up to 100%. Typically I just start losing control of one program after another and I cant use esc, or ctrl alt del, or ctrl shift esc to fix it. I eventually get the blue screen of death and cant figure out why. The only lead I've gotten is when I have task manager open to begin with and things start shutting down, the disk performance is throttled to 100% with not data being transferred. Idk if it helps but by system is in raid 0. Thanks in advance!

Hey mystero3. If you're having such issues with your drive, I'd suggest that you backup any important data which you might have on it, as a safety measure, just in case. Then I'd recommend that you download the manufacturer's diagnostic tool to test the drive and see if there's anything alarming with it. If the tests show nothing out of the ordinary, I'd suggest that you try the drive with a different computer or at least a different SATA connection to see if the same thing happens, because it might be a faulty cable as well.

Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any questions.

Well I was hopeful when I get your response but this unfortunately let to more problems. Firstly the diagnostic test from asus (my laptop is a ux301la) just crashes whenever I start the hard drive test. I then decided to crack open the bottom and ran into more issues. I didnt realize this when i got the laptop but it actually uses m.2 drives so there were no cables that could be faulty to begin with and I have no way of testing 1 of them, let alone both of them considering that they are in raid 0. more hlep please
