I recently tried to install my new graphics card into my computer. After I installed it I turned everything on and nothing happened, so I uninstalled it and then the power worked. After looking at my manuals it turns out my psu only outputs 488 watts, and my gpu needs 500. I left my gpu uninstalled but now the computer will crash almost immediately. Sometimes it will last a couple of minutes but it inevitably crashes. Why is it doing this? Is my psu bad now?
UPDATE:
I ran my bios and saw that my cpu rapidly climbed to 100+ degrees Celsius and then crashed why is it getting that hot?
