Computer Keeps Rebooting

I bought myself parts to build a computer in early September 2014. It worked great for about a week and then I started having problems with it. It is constantly rebooting. I've looked up numerous possibilities as to why it keeps rebooting and have attempted to fix it. At first I thought it was overheating, so I bought a bigger, badder heat sink. I've checked the temp in BIOS and it's never above 40°C. So then I thought there might be a faulty part in there somewhere, so I sent it back to Canada Computers (the store which I bought all of the parts from) and they tell me that all of the parts have been tested and are working fine. After getting it back it did work again for a day (they deleted a couple of programs I downloaded that they thought might be causing the problem) and then it started rebooting again. I started my computer up in safe mode and it ran perfectly for hours and never shut down but again would not run Windows normally without rebooting. After this I figured there must be a problem with the software I was using so I attempeed to reinstall windows. I'm not able to reinstall windows without my computer rebooting on me and having to start the process over again. It gets to the point where I name my pc and need to make a password, etc. It stays on until I attempt to type and as soon as I hit a key, it reboots immediately but if I just leave it sitting there it just stays on. It's very frustrating, especially for something that is brand new and cost a lot of money. I'm not very techy (my friend helped me build it) but I've ruled out everything I can think of that might be wrong with it. The only think I can think pf is maybe I have a weak video card? I'm really at the end of my rope with it. If anyone can help or make any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.
