Question Computer keeps shutting down automatically.

Hello community.

I need a bit help. If my machine automatically shuts down, and I need to off/on again the power supply to restart the machine, is the power supply the one thats faulty here? My system is fairly new. Amd ryzen 2nd gen. Only the psu is quite the old one. So i suspected thats the problem. Was I right? Or is it anything to do with anything else? Need to confirm before I went out to buy new parts.

That would be the first thing I would change, since you already suspect it to be that.
No one can confirm it, because no one is at your computer physically. It's something you will have to test and try.

Sounds typical of a psu fault. I would change it immediately, a complete psu failure can damage other components.
