Hi community at Toms hardware.

I have asked questions in here before, and try doing it again. I recently changed graphics card from: AMD Radeon HD 8760 2GB to GTX 970. And now I am trying to replace my i5 intel core 3350P with an i7 Intel 3770k. But after I have changed them, my computer keeps shutting down after 5 secounds. I suspect my power supply can not handle it, it is a 500 and think it can't handle both the new graphics card and the processor.
Here are my specs.http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/my-computer-details

The CPU I am trying to install : http://www.computersalg.dk/produkt/845243?varenummer=845243&utm_source=PriceRunner&utm_medium=PriceRunnerLINK&utm_campaign=PriceRunner

By starting only with CPU and CPU cooler I suppose u mean removing graphics card? I am not sure what you mean by 24 and 8 pin power cables.

Thanks for all your quick replies. I will try to remove my graphic card, re-seating the RAM and then seeing if it keeps restarting. But I am not that experienced, could it be anything else then the power supply?

I am trying to re-seat the RAMs but when I try to put them back in they don't seem to go all the way down. I am putting them straight back in, I havent tried turning it on with the RAM seated as such, and I am writing this from a differnt computer.

I got a friend of mine to take a look at it, and he solved it just by putting everything correctly in. However, I would like to thank you for all your quick answers and help.
