I have just built a new computer and I have installed windows and I was using it for a little bit and then for some reason it just randomly shut off when I turned it back on immediately shuts off back off again and then back on and back off etc. I pulled out one of the ram sticks and it turns on and the temperatures seem to be fine I don't know why it keeps turning off is it because my motherboard cannot support 16 GB of RAM? This is a fairly new motherboard so I don't know why it can't take 16 GB even though I was using 16 GB earlier.

Solution

Yeah these are issues you are having. I recommend a bios update and then see what happens. Ram could also be defective.

Full specs please.

7000 series cpu's aren't compatible with a h110 board without a bios update. However some will launch but be unstable. Has your boards bios been updated or not?
