Computer keeps turning off and on

I've recently bought an EVGA 550W G2 from a warehouse deal from Amazon. I've made sure to face the fan towards the vent of my Corsair Carbide SPEC-01 case and run the PSU on eco mode. I've also changed the thermal paste as I was changing my processor to an i7 3770k. The only components I've moved slightly were the RAM stick and the GPU however I've made sure to click them into place.

This hasn't changed a thing as my computer keeps turning itself on and off again. This doesn't happen frequently but it happens every now and then but theOC basically becomes unusable as I can log in without it restarting

CPU: i7 3770k with stock cooler
PSU: EVGA 550W G2
GPU: Radeon 5450
Mobo: MSI Z77MA G45
RAM: Crucial 4*4GB DDR3
HDD: 1*1TB WD & 1*2TB WD
SSD: 128GB Samsung

Reset CMOS.
You should not be overclocking anything with that stock cooler. also never use that MSI auto boost or overclock crap>

could be over time the overclocking caused degradation ?? and I gusee your sure your not having any thermal issues that maybe causeing this ? may un hook the case power button from the board to insure its not shorting out from time to time and causing a restart action ?? a bad switch can do this .

I think like zerk as well may need to start fresh in the bios or may need to just stop oc'ing or down tune it some to a 24/7 stable the best you can today ??

thing is when these thing pop up it chase your tail time and hope you find the cause or may just become time for a new build or board ?? like a capacitor went or going bad / weak in something ??

He changed the processor (needs CMOS reset)
Never use MSI overclock software/ single click boost/ push one button crap and he has the stock cooler.

maybe needs a bios update as well for the new chip his may not cover ?? may recheck the paste job as well if it got goofed ??

looks like that cpu need at least bios 1.3
