Hi,

My PC keeps shutting off, no warning just instant off, while playing games and recently has had a blue screen with hardware error... My specs are as follows:

GPU - Gigabyte AORUS Master RTX 3080
CPU - Intel Core i9-9900K
RAM - HyperX FURY RGB 32GB 3200MHz DDR4 RAM
PSU - Corsair TX750M 80+ Gold PSU
Case - MSI MAG VAMPIRIC 010
MOBO - Gigabyte Z370P D3

Is my PSU of 750W the issue for the turning off, do I need more wattage?

Thanks In Advance,
Joe

Failure after a while smacks of a heat issue.
9900K is a hot processor when fully loaded.
Have you overclocked?
Perhaps inadvertently by selecting optimized settings in the bios?
Run HWmonitor or such and monitor temperatures.
If you see 100c. your cpu has probably shut down to protect itself.

Usually shutdowns are caused by power or heat. What is airflow like? Make sure you have a good cooler for the 9900, and enough airflow around the vrms on the board. If your case supports it and you’ve not done so, maybe add a case fan or two on top and try to pull in some cool air to that area.
