64-bit operating system.
Hello!
Ever since I received this laptop as a present, I've had trouble with lagging in games. It seems to target newer games that require a lot of something or other (yeah, I'm not a tech person) such as Amnesia, Deadpool, and Call of Cthulhu: DCotE. Tonight, I got one called Overgrowth, and it lagged so much I couldn't enjoy it. Whenever I play games such as these I have to turn down graphics as much as I can, and even then, I can still get a little bit of lag!
Some games don't lag, but they don't seem to take as much. SCP: Containment Breach is one that ran smoothly. Game Dev Tycoon would be another.
I just don't know. I turn off unneeded programs, I turn up its priority in Task Manager, I configure graphics - I seriously don't know what to do anymore!
I would like a solution to this soon. There's a new Sherlock Holmes game coming out from Frogwares this year and I can tell just by the previews that it's going to take a lot to run nicely and I just can't have any lag on a Sherlock game! I wanted to rip my hair out everytime The Testament started to lag...
Please and thank you!
