I am running my Windows 7 64-bit rig on a Samsung un32eh5000f LED TV and I am getting many occasions every day where the TV display the "no signal" blank screen. This mostly happens at random occasions when playing video games, although more commonly when I open task manager pushing CTRL + ALT + DLT and booting up my computer.

The only solution I have is to unplug the HDMI cable and keep it out for a few minutes then plug it back in and / or unplugging the TV to "reset" and restarting the computer. This usually solves it, sometimes taking many repetitions of this process. It usually detects the PC but displays in a non-native lower res with another unplug / replug of the HDMI usually puts in back in to native 1080p.

■ I have the latest video drivers.
■ I have the latest TV firmware.
■ I have tried different several different HDMI cables.
■ The other dedicated DVI computer monitor works flawlessly with this PC.
■ I use a DVI to HDMI converter adapter with my graphics hard which connects to my TV.

MY RIG:

Q6600 @ 2.4ghz
p5k mobo
ASUS 260gtx
4gb ram

Please help. ■

downlaod hardware info 32 bit. set it to sensor and logging. watch your 12v power supply line see if it holding. on older pc like yours it may be a bad cap in the power supply or on the mb. if not that it could be a heat issues and it time to repaste the gpu/cpu and change the cmos battery.

I have the exactly same tv that i'm using for my monitor. And i'm ran into the exactly same issue. My new issue is that i can't get my pc to recognize that tv period!!. NO SIGNAL for the last 2-3 days. Switched hdmi cords, reset tv to factory settings, did a complete power cycle. Nothing as worked. Its super frustrating.
Its weird though; my comp recognizes the tv as a device. I can see it sitting there, in device manager. I just don't receive a video. It looks like its going to kick in, but then just goes to no signal.
Its weird though, because i can hook up my comp to a diff monitor or tv. And it works fine.
My advice. Get rid of the Samsung, especially now you've seen the 1st signs.

Hardware Info 32 bit shows my 12v is steady and my rig runs cool, no overheating issues. If it was infact power issues, would I have the same problem on my other monitor? It only happens on this TV.
