I just built my first pc about a month ago. I know this is on me, but to start my computer the only way was to press the start button on my motherboard. The power button on the phanteks case would always light up, but it never turned the computer on or off, but as long as i pressed the start button I was able to use the computer with no issue. However, today, when I went to turn on the computer, the start button will be the only thing that lights up and remains lighted up but then when I press it the motherboard and ram lights up for a literal second only to immediately shut off. Except the start button still remains on. The only way to get the rest to light up again for a second is to turn the power supply on and off again.

Solution
The start button on your Phanteks case is likely not plugged correctly into the motherboards front panel connectors. Check your manual again to make sure.
