Computer long 15-20 sec beep stops then repeats

Hello, i have a hp a6600f, w/ nvidia egforce 8600t video card,2 gigs ram, here's the problem, system was running great, then froze, restarted, but the only thing, that happened was a series of 15-20 sec beep-short pause, then the same long beep, it just repeats the same process..here's what i tried -i switched the ram chips (i have 2 slots) tried just one, this system has a intergrated video built in, took 8600t video card out, and tried to use the intergrated one, still the same beep series, all fans are working fine (cpu,power,video card etc) please help me find the problem..

Did you try all new RAM or just used one of your old ones? Also try to reset the BIOS to factory defaults. You can find the beep codes for your model on HPs support page, see what they say.
