Computer looses power when booting but now suddenly works

My dad's computer looses power when booting change the power supply and casing still did not work so i ordered some parts to fix it

But after leaving it for about a week it booted up normally

My question is why did it suddenly booted up

Mobo Asrock H61M-Vs
Ram 4gb
Hdd 150gb

Power Supply needs replaced with a quality unit.

You're Welcome - as to why it suddenly worked? I'm not sure. I once had a power supply that would reboot endlessly until it finally quit. Afterward I had to replace the motherboard.
